The World's a Stage

A pounding heart. Heightened, heavy breaths. Attempts to distract oneself with serotonin inducing exercises. A constant shadow obscures one's sun when something unpleasant lies ahead. The relativity accompanied with time becomes nightmarishly short as moments of dread quicken. Imminent seconds of despair vanish and all judgment consumed with trepidation subsides into an illusory idea. Small, insignificant instances are known to inhabit the realm of consciousness and leave lingering messages of blunder and indecorum. Skewed impressions are derived from less than sixty-second encounters, yet linger interminably. These perceptions contain the ability for the actors of this play to contort themselves into their role and learn how to act in accordance with the script. Loss of eccentricity. Never-ceasing instructions. The play continues and the performers alter their behavior unconsciously. A hidden talent, guilty pleasure or extraordinary prowess procure a similar response. Their ingenuity is deemed as unconventional and forces our curious souls to withhold our most stimulating thoughts. Fracturing the structured ideals has never proved to be effortless and the societal constructions are tightly tethered. Stepping outside the paved road is always invigorating yet sometimes never fulfills the desired outcome.
